About Us

About Felu Garden

We help beginners grow plants with patience, curiosity, and fewer guesses.

Felu Garden grew from the small questions that make plant care feel mysterious. Why are the leaves turning yellow? Is this pot too small? Can herbs survive on a balcony? Did I water too much, too little, or somehow both?

We are Silas and Juliana Payao, and this blog is our place for clear, gentle plant guidance. The photos on this page are from our wedding, where we were literally looking toward each other from different angles. That image fits Felu Garden well: plant care often improves when you look again, observe slowly, and understand what changed.

A garden does not have to be large

Felu Garden is for readers growing something in real homes: a basil pot near a window, a snake plant in a bedroom, a balcony container, a first set of gardening tools, or a houseplant that looked happier last week.

We are especially interested in approachable plant care. You do not need a greenhouse, a large yard, or a perfect routine to learn. You need good information, reasonable expectations, and the confidence to adjust when a plant tells you something is wrong.

The way we think about plants

Plants reward attention more than panic. That is the tone we try to bring to every article. Instead of giving dramatic instructions, we explain signs, possible causes, and simple next steps so readers can make better decisions in their own space.

Silas organizes the research and turns scattered advice into clear guides. Juliana helps keep the writing human, calm, and useful for someone who may be caring for their very first plant.

What we cover

  • indoor plants
  • beginner gardening
  • plant problems and fixes
  • herbs at home
  • balcony gardening
  • garden tools for small spaces

How we work

We build articles around practical plant questions, then explain the likely causes, what to check first, and what to do next. Whenever possible, we include simple observations readers can make before changing soil, light, water, or containers.

Because plant health depends on climate, season, light, and local conditions, our guidance is educational rather than one-size-fits-all. We encourage experimentation without making readers feel careless for learning through mistakes.

Our editorial promise

Our promise is to keep Felu Garden grounded, encouraging, and specific. We want plant care to feel less like a secret language and more like a relationship built through observation. If we recommend a method or tool, we aim to explain where it fits and when it may not.
